Freeway-frontage showrooms

Large dealerships stack showrooms, service bays, parts and offices across multi-level buildings.

Freeway-frontage stores like these are large, and much of their floor space is working space. Our janitorial plan follows a layout like that one floor at a time, so every room between the service entrance and the delivery desk has a place on the checklist.

Service lane first

Most of a dealership’s daily visitors arrive through the service lane, not the showroom. We start there: write-up stations, advisor desks, key drop counters and check-in kiosks are wiped, and the service waiting room gets its seats, side tables, charging counters, coffee station and floor cleaned. The cashier window and the corridor to the customer restrooms are part of the same pass.

Tire marks, coolant drips and road grit follow cars and customers in from the drive. The concrete in the service drive is dust-mopped and spot-cleaned on routine visits, and periodic machine scrubbing through commercial floor care lifts the film a mop leaves behind. We book scrubbing for hours when the lane is closed, so the concrete is dry before the first appointment pulls in.

Parts counters, technician rooms and back offices

The parts department lives at its counter. We clean the countertop and its customer-facing panel, mop the strip of floor in front of it, polish any glass display cases, and dust and empty the parts office behind it. Where a receiving door opens onto a loading apron, parking garage and loading dock cleaning keeps that area swept and clear of litter on the same schedule.

Technicians need a break room and restrooms that stand up to grease and constant use. Tables, counters, sinks, microwaves and refrigerator handles are wiped down, floors are mopped, and restrooms are cleaned and restocked from your supply or ours. Service managers’ offices, the warranty desk and the dispatch station are dusted, bins are emptied and the floors get a vacuum or mop, so the people who keep the shop running have rooms that feel looked after.

A showroom ready at opening

With the service side done, the crew moves to the showroom. Tall windows and glass entry doors are cleaned on the inside, handprints come off the panes nearest the display vehicles, and the tile gets mopped in the gaps between cars, platforms and sign stands. Polished tile and stone are burnished on a regular cycle so the reflection under the showroom lights stays crisp.

Sales desks and guest chairs are wiped, the greeter’s podium and brochure stands are dusted, and the delivery corner where buyers collect their keys is cleaned on every visit. In the finance offices, desktops and glass fronts are cleaned while contracts and folders stay exactly where your team set them down.

Restrooms and the upstairs offices

Customer restrooms on the sales and service sides are cleaned and disinfected at every visit: toilets, urinals, sinks, partitions, mirrors and fixtures, with paper and soap topped up and floors left dry. A sparkling restroom quietly tells a waiting customer the shop takes the same care with their car.

Multi-level stores put a lot upstairs. Administrative offices, conference rooms, the accounting office and the sales team’s meeting room are dusted, vacuumed and emptied, and stairways, elevator buttons and landing glass are wiped on the way through. Carpeted offices can be refreshed between visits with commercial carpet cleaning.

Around late closes and event weekends

Dealership hours run long, with late weeknight closes and a full Saturday on the sales floor. We arrive once the last salesperson leaves or ahead of the service lane’s first appointment, starting in whichever department begins its day earliest.

A model launch, a holiday sale or a weekend tent event fills the showroom with people. We can schedule a thorough pass the evening before and a second sweep through the store the next morning, and day porter service keeps the coffee station in order, the restrooms supplied and the windows free of smudges during the rush.

What drives the cost of dealership cleaning

Dealership pricing comes from the building and how hard it works: square footage across the showroom, service and office floors, how often we visit, how much glass faces the street, whether the showroom is tile, stone or polished concrete, how many restrooms and waiting rooms you keep, your sales and service hours, and any porter hours, event resets or concrete scrubbing you add.

A walkthrough with your service and sales managers turns that list into a quote, with each add-on priced on its own line.

A few useful answers

Common questions.

Do you start in the service department or the showroom?

Usually the service side comes first, because it tends to open earliest. The showroom is finished last so it looks its best when the sales team arrives.

Is the service-drive concrete scrubbed, or only mopped?

Both. It is mopped on routine visits and machine-scrubbed through our floor care service on a set cycle, during hours when the lane is closed, so it dries before the first car rolls in.

Will crews work around cars parked on the showroom floor overnight?

Yes. Crews clean around display vehicles, platforms and signs, and nothing on the showroom floor is moved unless your manager asks.

Are the technicians' break room and restrooms included?

Yes. The technicians’ break room, their restrooms and the service offices are covered in the same trip that handles the customer side.

Can a porter cover a busy sales weekend?

Yes. Book porter time for a sale or a launch, so restroom supplies, lounge seating and showroom glass get looked after while customers fill the store.
