An optional supply round on cleaning nights

On most janitorial plans, someone still has to answer the question of who buys the paper. With Oakland Janitorial Co, the answer can simply be us. If we also clean your building and you would like the products from us, the crew that services your restrooms, breakrooms and entrances each night can bring the consumables and keep them stocked, so supplies stop being a line on the office manager’s to-do list. Prefer to keep buying paper yourself? Then the crew loads what you buy.

What we provide is a short, practical list: toilet tissue, roll and folded hand towels, liquid or foam soap, sanitizer for entry stations, seat covers, trash bags for breakroom and dock cans, and liners cut to fit your bins. Our crew also installs the paper, soap and sanitizer dispensers, in restrooms, kitchens and by the front door.

When our crew handles the refills

For buildings that choose it, the supply round goes on the nightly checklist. Restroom by restroom, the crew refills every dispenser, replaces seat cover packs and relines each bin it empties. In breakrooms it reloads the towel and soap units by the sink and bags the kitchen trash. At the entrance it tops up sanitizer. Before the crew leaves, someone counts the closet and notes what is running short, so it arrives with the next delivery and no restroom runs dry before the crew is back.

Stock is on the list supervisors walk during their quality inspections. Where restrooms see heavy use during business hours, a day porter can add a midday refill round.

Supplies-only delivery to your building

Buildings cleaned by their own staff or a building engineer can still hand us the purchasing. We set the items and counts per restroom and breakroom, then deliver on a schedule you set. In a high-rise that means using the freight elevator and your building’s delivery rules; at a warehouse it means the loading dock or a side door, whichever your team prefers.

The stock goes straight into the janitor’s closet or storage room, and your team keeps cleaning on its own routine. Our delivery area covers the whole city, including the Coliseum area and West Oakland.

Dispensers in older buildings

Older buildings, converted warehouse lofts among them, often collect a mix of towel holders and soap units over decades of tenants, and each one takes a different refill.

Floor by floor, we can replace that mix with one consistent dispenser line and carry the refills it takes. If you would rather keep your current units, we match refills to them instead. New restrooms or breakrooms from a tenant buildout get their dispensers and join the stock list.

Par levels per restroom, plus the right liners

Every restroom has its own par level, meaning a standing count of every consumable that room uses, stored in the closet on its floor. We size the numbers from headcount, fixtures and traffic, and every visit or delivery brings the shelf back up to them. In a tower, each floor’s closet carries its own par levels, so nobody has to ride the elevator to borrow a case.

Liners deserve their own plan in Alameda County. The county’s organics and recycling ordinance has businesses sort organics and recycling into properly labeled indoor bins, so breakrooms often hold three containers side by side. We stock liners sized for each one, along with heavier trash bags for kitchen and dock cans.

What it saves the facility manager

A separate paper vendor means another account, another sales call and another reorder to remember. Order the paper through us, and those three chores go away. If our crew cleans for you too, the people who walk every restroom each night can keep it stocked, and a single contact handles questions on cleaning and consumables alike.

Kitchens can be stocked as well: office pantry restocking covers coffee, snacks and drinks on a separate list.

Why use differs from building to building

Use climbs with headcount and public traffic. An office tower with full floors draws on tissue and towels through the working day, while theaters, bars and restaurants send most of their crowds through the restrooms in the evening. Public-facing spaces that stay open from morning to night need their dispensers checked more often than a closed-door office suite does.

Medical offices keep handwashing sinks in near-constant use, since staff wash between every patient. Warehouses, shared kitchens, auto service shops and light industrial buildings fill their bins as steadily as they use paper, so trash bags and liners get counted right alongside the tissue.

How supply pricing is set

Pricing comes from the building: headcount, the number of restrooms and breakrooms, how hard each one works, the quality tier of paper and soap, and whether stock comes with nightly visits or by delivery and how often. Dispenser hardware is quoted unit by unit, and every line appears in the quote.

A few useful answers

Common questions.

Can we buy supplies from Oakland Janitorial Co without a cleaning plan?

Yes. Without cleaning, you still get a stock list and par levels, and cases arrive on the schedule you choose, straight to your closet or storage room.

Do you stock liners for compost and recycling bins too?

Yes. We stock liners sized for each trash, recycling and organics container in your breakrooms, plus heavier bags for kitchen and dock cans.

Our tower has different dispensers on different floors. What do you recommend?

We can standardize the dispensers floor by floor, or source refills that fit each existing unit.

Who refills the dispensers between nightly visits?

If we clean nightly and you have us supply the products, the crew refills everything on each visit, and a day porter can add a midday round for restrooms that see heavy daytime use.
